Northwest Demolition was contracted for all four phases of a public private venture (PPV) military housing replacement project. As a member of the civil team, Northwest Demolition demolished nearly 3,000 units comprising of single-family homes, duplexes, and quadplexes. The project also called for the removal and processing of around 1,600 trees. Quick turnover rates and aggressive scheduling required extensive coordination among asbestos abatement, demolition, and civil and vertical construction contractors.

Northwest Demolition completed each stage of the project ahead of schedule. As much as 500 cubic-yards of demolition debris was removed from site daily, and approximately 300,000 tons of concrete and CMU was crushed onsite for reuse in the new housing development.

This project showcases Northwest Demolition’s ability to meet the high volume, quick turnover demands of large operations involving simultaneous work from a variety of subcontractors.
