Northwest Demolition was retained by Hunt Companies to continue its efforts in the Hawaii Regional Housing Privatization effort being undertaken by Ohana Miliary Communities on Oahu, HI.  Scope included the demolition of 276 housing units, consisting of over 330,000sf of floor plan.  Over 20,000 tons of concrete and asphalt was crushed onsite for reuse as future building pads and base coarse.  Additionally, all trees and green waste onsite was mulched to be utilized as dust and erosion control.  The project involved a multi-phase approach, requiring strict logistics planning over the six-month performance period.  Northwest Demolition completed the project without a safety incident.
